we are always looking for new stuff so we are constantly collecting works of all kinds for our next issue— all subject matters, styles, formats, and lengths are allowed. read our guidelines below.
submission guidelines
we welcome poetry, fiction, non-fiction, photography and art. previous experience or publishing background is not needed, we don't care. in fact, we welcome new and aspiring writers. please write a little bio of 2-3 lines to go along with your submission, and feel free to tell us what your pieces mean to you. if your pieces are linked or companion pieces, please mention it in your submission.

please make sure the quality is adequate

a response will be given before two weeks. every submission, whether accepted or not, will receive 3-5 lines of feedback from our editor. if you don't want feedback, mention it in your submission.

since heart locket has limited issues, please be patient with publishing. the date of our next issue is not yet known, but once we have received enough submissions we will get the publishing process in motion as fast as possible.
